The Longest Nite

A Hong Kong gangster movie focusing on the troubles of an especially dirty cop.

Good: Cool bald villain, cool Tony Leung. Fun 80s synth soundtrack. Short running time (good for my ADD). Neon streets of Hong Kong.

Bad: Silly punching sound effects. Subtitles that disappear from the screen way, way too quickly. Confusing story (made all the harder to keep straight by the aforementioned fleeting subtitles).

Watch for: the cool bald guy putting his head to good use in the car. Oh, and of course, the vomiting woman getting punched repeatedly in the face.

Unanswered question: Why is Nite spelled wrong in the movie title?
